Feeding Military Veterans and Surviving Spouses
The Mission of Volunteers Serving The Need (VSTN) is to provide needy Military Veterans and Surviving Spouses in Webb County TX with monthly groceries, personal hygiene and basic household items.
We provide weekly fruits, vegetables and bread. When available, we also offer frozen foods and other essential household items.
Volunteers Serving the Need, also known as The Veterans Project, is funded by the sale of donated items in our VSTN Thrift Store and by financial gifts and grants from the community.
All funds are used to support the Veterans Project’s Mission to acquire groceries and other items for DIRECT distribution to eligible Military Veterans and Surviving Spouses in Webb County TX and to cover operational expenses.
We rely on the generosity and compassion of those who Volunteer, Shop, Donate or Contribute to our efforts to Make a Difference in the Lives of those who have made a Difference in Ours.
